How do I use Conversation Mode?

Open the app and select Conversation Mode. Choose your language and the language of the person you are speaking with. Tap the microphone button and speak your phrase. The app will translate it and display the result with audio playback. Then hand your phone to the other person — they tap the microphone on their side, speak in their language, and the translation appears for you. It works like a two-way interpreter.

How many free translations do I get?

Free users get 10 translations per day. This resets every 24 hours. If you need more, you can purchase a Travel Pass or subscribe to a monthly or annual plan.

What languages are supported?

Translatr currently supports six languages: Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Tagalog (Filipino), Korean, and Japanese. All translations are to and from English.

How do I upgrade to Premium?

Open the app and go to Settings > Upgrade. You will see all available plans. Select the one that suits you and complete the purchase through the App Store. Your premium features will activate immediately.

Can I use Translatr offline?

No, Translatr requires an internet connection to work. Translations are processed in real-time using AI, which requires communication with our servers.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. To cancel, go to your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, find Translatr, and tap Cancel Subscription. You will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

Is my voice data stored?

No. Your voice audio is processed in real-time to generate translations and is never stored on our servers. Only the translated text is temporarily retained for service improvement (up to 90 days). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
